The Chetek - Weyerhaeuser Scholarship Foundation spent some time tracking down some of the recipients of our Scholarships. We hope by reading some of their comments, will encourage those thinking about furthering their education to GO FOR IT. We also hope that this page will encourage potential contributors to make a contribution to help students graduating from Chetek - Weyerhaeuser High School to believe in their dreams of furthering their education.

Adrian Fostvedt - Thur
2000 Graduate and CASF Recipient

Adrian graduated from Chetek High School in 2000. She attended college at UW-La Crosse with a major in Psychology and a minor in Biology. After obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in May 2004, she went onto Graduate school at UW-La Crosse and earned her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy in December of 2006.

Adrian knew she wanted to be a Physical Therapist ever since the 6th grade. The Chetek Area Scholarship Foundation assisted Adrian achieve her dream. She credits a wonderful group of teachers and mentors from the Chetek School District for preparing her for the challenges of college.

Currently, she works full-time for Marshfield Clinic Physical Therapy in Eau Claire as a Physical Therapist. She works with an out-patient population, helping patients of various ages recover from various injuries, surgeries, chronic pain, and other medical conditions. She lives in Eau Claire with her husband.
